JOHN DIB

Intern Architect M.Arch, BEDS, NSAA Intern

Born and raised in Halifax, John's passion for architecture came at a young age, surrounded by the rapidly growing development industry in the city he grew up in. In his time at Dalhousie, he developed a position on residential architecture and became driven to create projects that improve the built environment and change the way we interact with the urban fabric. His studies led him to explore the role of housing in the Middle East and understand the impact of mixed-use spaces within the public realm. This guided him in understanding the ability of these spaces to improve the lives of those who experience them by integrating public and private uses seamlessly in each project to create comprehensive, self-sufficient environments. John aims to develop this knowledge further with the intention of creating holistic designs capable of influencing how we look at development, considering each project as part of a connected urban environment.
