JOHN DIB
Intern Architect
M.Arch, BEDS, NSAA
Born and raised in Halifax, John's passion for architecture came at a young age, surrounded by the rapidly growing development industry in the city he grew up in. In his time at Dalhousie, he developed a position on residential architecture and became driven to create projects that improve the built environment and change the way we interact with the urban fabric. His studies led him to explore the role of housing in the Middle East and understanding the impact of mixed-use spaces within the public realm. This guided him in understanding the ability of these spaces to improve the lives of those who experience them by integrating public and private uses seamlessly in each project to create comprehensive, self-sufficient environments. John aims to develop this knowledge further with the intention of creating holistic designs capable of influencing how we look at development, considering each project as part of a connected urban environment.

M.Arch
Lebanese origin, graduated from the Holy spirit university – USEK – with a master’s degree in architecture in 2016. I Worked in Lebanon with Yesssayan Developments for almost four years where I enhanced my experience in residential building and towers, in office and on site. I was a freelance architect too, I had my own office where I used to do my own architecture, interior design, and furniture design projects, by working closely with the subcontractors and following up on the small details. I immigrated to Canada in 2023 and joined WM Fares Architects team. I love minimal design and I strive for perfection. Since university, I was always impressed by Rem Koolhaas with his designs connected to humanism, Mies Van Der Rohe with his philosophy of modernism and his famous quote: “Less is more!” and, of course, Zaha Hadid by her strong personality as a woman, and her iconic designs
